Andee Liberman, Director

SS BiosDSCN0431MasterAndeeAndee is thrilled to be the Director at Shalom Street Museum.  She is a graduate from Michigan State University’s School of Education with a K-8 teaching degree with a special education endorsement in Cognitively Impaired.  Andee began her career teaching special education in the public school system.  She then spent 13 years at Akiva Hebrew Day school where she created and implemented the special education program.

In 1998 she became the Director of Education at Temple Kol Ami in West Bloomfield, Michigan.  During those years, she completed the Mandel Teacher Education Institute program, taught classes for Nirim, assisted in leading teacher training seminars.

 

Hannah Iwrey, Program Associate

SS BiosDSCN0431MasterHannahHannah Iwrey is currently the Program Associate at Shalom Street Museum. She graduated from North Farmington High School in 2011 and has been working at Union for Reform  Judaism’s Camp George as an Arts & Crafts specialist and head specialist for three summers. She has attended the joint URJ & Ramah camping movements Kivun specialty track for the arts in 2012 and the Foundation for Jewish Camping, Cornerstone Fellowship program at Capital Camps in 2013.
